Well that certainly tasted good.
The other day I thought I would teach Amy how to bake bread. It is something that I really enjoy doing and the taste and texture of a home made loaf is far grander than a shop bought one. I've really got the knack of it now and would never use a bread machine again.
I realised I give my bread quite a thorough seeing to in the kneading process, but Amy seemed to show a lot more gentle love and affection to the dough. She certainly has the right knack anyway because it tasted absolutely scrumptious and it looked good too...
I look forward to her baking many more loaves for me in the future.
Delicious!

ReplyDeleteHi again, thanks for popping by.
DeleteWe use dried yeast.

Well that certainly looks delicious. I use my bread maker to make the dough, but I take it out, knock it back, split in to bread rolls and bake in the oven.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo
DeleteThanks for visiting our blog again!!
We haven't made rolls, but we definately will think about doing it in the near future!

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs H.
DeleteWe really enjoyed reading your blog when we found it yesterday.
I'll post a blog post later in the week, probably Thursday outlining how we make our bread.

Yeah, homebaked is better by a long way!
ReplyDeleteTime for me to break out the breadmaker! It looks better than mine will be.
ReplyDeleteThat last sentence says it all! ;) It's nice to share skills though.
ReplyDeleteThat looks absolutely delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteBread machine - I will admit, that since I busted up my hand a few times and arthritis sets in, I often 'cheat' and use my bread machine for the kneading process of my breads, especially if I am baking a dozen more more loaves in a day, but sometimes, if you are stressed at all, giving that dough a good pounding can be very therapeutic.
I look forward to seeing pics of those future loaves. I really like the way you shaped that one.
