We're going to need a few more seed potatoes...

We only bought 21 seed potatoes for our small little patch.

But today we had the news that we're getting our own very big patch. The town council called to say they had an allotment with our name on it. It will be ready for us from the end of next week which of course is very, very exciting.

We have a lot of plans running through our head already. We can't wait to put the spade in the ground for the first time very soon!

    1. Hi Mal.

We haven't been to see the actual plot yet we are doing that later next week.

The picture is just a general picture of the allotments in our area I took when we were on a walk a few years ago.

      Thanks for reading!

  4. For the longest time, I wondered what an allotment could be. Then, I looked it up on the internet. It seems this is not common the the Americas. It was fun browsing different kinds and sizes of allotments and reading the quite ancient history. What size is your new allotment?
