Today's post is on the subject of that sealed pot again...
This snippet from Disney Pixar's amazing film UP really sums up the whole sealed pot principle. It also demonstrates how difficult it is to not dip in to it.
This clip in general just about perfectly sums up the journey through life, but keep your eyes open for the pot!
If you haven't seen the whole movie, then it is definately worth a watch.

I love that film, funnily enough when you mentioned your sealed plot this bit of the film sprang to mind. It's a good lesson... :)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this film, but yes, the clip certainly does sum up life. There always seems to be something more important to spend money on rather than luxuries. Looking forward to hearing about your exciting news.
ReplyDeleteI agree it is a very poignant film, about not putting things off and balancing your dreams with what seems sensible in life.
ReplyDeleteWe're trying to follow that path in paying off our mortgage and going to Africa in the next year and a half.
The sealed pot money must definitely be put to good use...nothing too sensible allowed.
